Dermatology Specialist

About the role

The Dermatology Specialist delivers high‑quality, evidence‑based, patient‑centered care across both clinical and cosmetic dermatology. The role involves assessing, diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of skin, hair and nail conditions while providing a range of procedural treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat diverse dermatologic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver medical and procedural dermatology care.
• Perform clinical procedures such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy and minor surgeries.
• Carry out cosmetic procedures including Botox, dermal fillers, PRP, chemical peels, laser and skin rejuvenation treatments.
• Educate patients on conditions, treatment options, outcomes and post‑procedure care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in audits, quality improvement and CPD activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and comply with SEHA and DOH regulations.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognized medical school.
• Postgraduate specialty training/qualification in Dermatology.
• Relevant clinical experience in both clinical and cosmetic dermatology.
• Valid DOH Abu Dhabi Specialist License or eligibility to obtain it.
• Strong communication and patient‑care skills.
