Design Architect (PODS Factory)

About the role

Azizi Developments is seeking a Design Architect to join its PODs Factory team. The role focuses on creating architectural solutions for prefabricated and modular PODs, ensuring designs are practical, efficient, and ready for factory production and site installation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs for prefabricated and modular PODs, including bathroom and kitchen units.
• Prepare detailed design, shop, fabrication, and production drawings.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, production, and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure designs are cost‑effective and suitable for factory production.
• Review materials, finishes, construction details, and manufacturing methods.
• Support design optimisation following DfMA principles.
• Guarantee compliance with project specifications, UAE regulations, and applicable standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 5+ years of architectural design experience.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience in detailed design, construction detailing, and technical documentation.
• Background in PODs, modular construction, prefabrication, or factory‑based production is preferred.
• Experience with villa/residential, hospitality, bathroom, or kitchen fit‑outs is also considered.
