Design Coordinator (UAE National)

About the role

The Design Coordinator will act as the primary liaison between clients, external consultants and project managers to ensure that design intent and specifications are fully adhered to throughout the project lifecycle, up to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively coordinate with clients, consultants, landlords and internal managers to deliver accurate design documentation on schedule.
• Assist in design development, monitor progress and propose design amendments or improvements.
• Ensure all deliverables meet the brief, including variations and required documentation.
• Review client manuals and project applications for site compliance.
• Support site teams by providing necessary design information during development and execution.
• Conduct regular site visits, perform compliance checks and generate design review reports.
• Advise project managers on design‑related issues, client complaints and site adjustments, offering practical solutions.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture with strong knowledge of concept and detail drawing preparation, preferably in interior fit‑out projects.
• 2–3 years of experience using AutoCAD to resolve design and project execution challenges.
