Desktop Migration Engineer

About the role

Tech ECS Limited is seeking an experienced Desktop Migration Engineer to support its enterprise IT team in Dubai. The role focuses on Windows migration and deployment, enterprise desktop management, end‑user support, Microsoft technologies, endpoint security, and infrastructure services. Arabic fluency is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute Windows 10 and Windows 11 migration and deployment projects
• Manage enterprise desktop environments using SCCM/ConfigMgr, MDT, or USMT
• Provide advanced desktop engineering and end‑user technical support
• Configure and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and infrastructure services
• Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Exchange, and endpoint‑security solutions
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administrative and deployment tasks
• Monitor system performance
• Assist with enterprise backup and recovery processes

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of desktop‑engineering or enterprise IT‑support experience
• Arabic‑speaking ability is mandatory
• Strong experience with Windows 10/11 migration and deployment
• Hands‑on knowledge of SCCM/ConfigMgr, MDT, or USMT
• Experience managing Active Directory and Group Policy
• Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Exchange
• Knowledge of endpoint security, EDR, and enterprise backup solutions such as Commvault
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and IT automation
• Excellent troubleshooting and end‑user support skills
