Developer Community Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Developer Community Manager to champion our open-source product within technical communities across the United Arab Emirates. Working remotely, you will act as a trusted peer for engineers, sharing expertise and shaping conversations on platforms where developers discuss data pipelines, orchestration and infrastructure tools.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, credible presence in developer forums, social networks and technical sites, contributing genuine insights rather than promotional messages.
• Engage in technical discussions on Reddit, Hacker News, X, LinkedIn, Discord, Stack Overflow, Medium and GitHub, answering questions and providing use-case guidance.
• Identify high-impact communities and topics where the product can add value and grow its reputation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and marketing teams to surface relevant use cases, create explainers and translate community feedback into actionable product improvements.
• Build relationships with technical content creators such as bloggers, YouTubers and newsletter authors in the data and infrastructure space.
• Leverage modern tools, including AI-assisted workflows and social-listening platforms, to scale engagement while preserving technical accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong technical understanding of data pipelines, orchestration systems and infrastructure tooling.
• Proven experience influencing developer communities and earning their trust.
• Excellent written English; French is a plus.
• Self-motivated, autonomous and comfortable working in an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
