Developer Portal & Community Manager

About the role

The Developer Portal & Community Manager will own and evolve the public developer portal for a cutting‑edge open‑hardware product. Based in the United Arab Emirates, you will act as the bridge between engineering teams and a global community of developers, contributors, and enthusiasts.

Key responsibilities

• Own, structure, and continuously improve the Developer Portal, ensuring accuracy and usability.
• Translate internal engineering discussions, technical updates, and product changes into clear public documentation.
• Maintain wiki pages, GitHub repositories, and other developer‑facing resources across multiple sub‑projects.
• Participate in engineering meetings to stay aligned with development direction.
• Moderate community contributions, discussions, issues, and pull requests to ensure quality and constructive collaboration.
• Collect and synthesize community feedback and relay insights back to internal teams.
• Help developers navigate the portal, contribute effectively, and engage with the ecosystem.

Required profile

• Excellent written communication with a proven record of producing clear technical documentation.
• Strong ability to break down complex technical concepts into simple, structured explanations.
• Comfortable working closely with engineers across hardware and software domains.
• Ability to filter valuable feedback from noise and maintain focus on high‑quality contributions.
• Organizational mindset with a focus on information architecture and clarity.
• Genuine interest in developer tools, open‑source ecosystems, and open‑development cultures.
