Development Engineer II – Aircraft Bombs & Warheads

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Development Engineer II to lead the design, integration, testing and qualification of advanced aircraft bomb and warhead systems for the Lahab program. The role combines mechanical and aerospace engineering expertise to deliver high‑performance munitions that meet stringent military standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, preliminary and detailed design of bomb and warhead structures.
• Perform engineering analyses including structural, fragmentation and performance assessments.
• Integrate bomb/warhead assemblies with fuzing, guidance systems and aerial platforms.
• Support prototype manufacturing, test preparation and execution of ground, flight and arena tests.
• Ensure compliance with MIL‑STD, STANAG and safety regulations, and manage technical documentation and configuration control.
• Participate in proposals, technical evaluations and supplier collaboration.
• Execute MRP/ERP related tasks to support production planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in aircraft bomb or warhead design and manufacturing.
• Strong planning, communication and cross‑functional coordination abilities.

• 3D modelling and simulation.
