DevOps Engineer – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and operate a multi‑component web application for an oil and gas client based in Dubai. The role involves deploying, configuring and maintaining both backend Node.js services and React front‑ends within an on‑premise, Windows Server environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Node.js services using PM2, including process registration, log handling and recovery.
• Publish React single‑page applications, manage build artifacts and serve static content via Apache.
• Configure Apache virtual hosts, proxy rules and dual‑layer SSL certificates, coordinating with load balancer and client IT teams.
• Perform MS SQL Server database backups, restores and execute deployment scripts for schema and data changes.
• Set up and maintain Azure AD OAuth‑based SSO across multiple environments.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, release and deployment workflows.
• Monitor application health through logs and process managers, conduct first‑level troubleshooting and document runbooks.
• Liaise with client IT and digital teams for server provisioning, firewall rules, network access and certificate requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or system administration.
• Proven ability to work in an on‑premise, multi‑server architecture supporting critical business applications.
• Strong communication skills to act as the primary technical liaison with client IT teams.
