Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist

About the role

The Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist will strengthen the Foundation’s digital presence, grow its audiences and deliver high‑quality content across all digital channels. Reporting to the PR & Events Director, the role is highly hands‑on, covering strategy, content creation, paid media, community management and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement digital marketing plans that align with the Foundation’s strategic objectives and increase brand awareness.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of all social media platforms, creating, editing and publishing engaging content.
• Produce and schedule content calendars, covering events in real time and ensuring consistent publishing.
• Plan, execute and optimise paid media campaigns, monitoring performance and reporting insights.
• Optimize website content for SEO and user engagement.
• Identify digital storytelling opportunities that showcase research, impact and programmes.
• Collaborate with the Communications & Events team, designers and external partners to ensure brand consistency.

Required profile

• Hands‑on digital marketer with experience managing social media, content creation and paid campaigns.
• Strong analytical mindset to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ability to work closely with internal teams and external partners while maintaining the Foundation’s professional brand voice.
