About the role
Our client is a large organization operating across regulated sectors in the UAE, with extensive interaction with government bodies. The Director of Corporate Affairs and Government Relations will lead the company’s public affairs, regulatory engagement and corporate affairs strategy across the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Manage relationships with government agencies, regulators and public entities.
- Lead policy monitoring, advocacy initiatives and risk mitigation efforts.
- Oversee licensing, compliance and strategic projects involving public sector partners.
- Collaborate closely with legal teams and executive leadership to align regulatory strategies.
- Provide insights on regulatory environments and stakeholder dynamics.
Required profile
- Senior experience in government relations or public affairs within the UAE.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments and stakeholder dynamics.
- Demonstrated discretion, credibility and excellent communication skills.
- Arabic fluency highly preferred.
- Experience in highly regulated sectors is an advantage.
