Director, Corporate Banking Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Director, Corporate Banking will manage client relationships for an assigned portfolio in the Corporate Banking segment, ensuring revenue targets are met while maintaining client satisfaction and credit quality. The role requires high collaboration across internal and external teams, with outreach to local and international clients across different time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client and market data to identify opportunities and risks, and originate new business across banking products.
• Develop term sheets, information memoranda and mandate letters, and negotiate and close deals while managing credit, market and operational risk.
• Maintain credit quality, achieve financial performance targets, and drive cross‑selling to increase the portfolio’s revenue.
• Prepare and maintain account plans, client documentation, and ensure timely credit reviews and audit compliance.
• Assist the Executive Director with client calls, KYC/AML compliance, and preparation of MIS reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Engineering or related field; 8‑10 years of corporate banking coverage experience.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, adjust to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, research and financial modelling capabilities.
