Director Forensic Audit (UAE National)

About the role

The Director of Forensic Audit will lead special investigations and forensic audits, ensuring timely and professional delivery based on inputs from the Audit Committee, internal control heads, whistle‑blowing channels, and management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and supervise special investigations, forensic and financial audits, prioritising work based on risk rating and urgency.
• Prepare, review and present detailed audit reports and summary presentations to senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Advise senior executives on best practices, corrective measures and areas for improvement.
• Monitor implementation of internal controls and follow‑up on agreed action plans with business owners.
• Ensure compliance of the forensic function with internal control policies and address whistle‑blowing issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline; CPA, CA, ACCA or CIA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting/auditing experience (8 years for UAE nationals).
• Prior experience in a large telecom environment with knowledge of regional and international best practices.
