Director - IT Product

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island, the first integrated resort in the UAE set to open in 2027, is looking for a Director of IT Product to lead its IT Product team. The role covers the full product lifecycle, from building requirements to go-live, and manages a portfolio of systems used by guests, staff and the business.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business needs into product roadmaps and a single release plan, from system build to go-live.
• Lead requirements workshops and secure business sign-off on requirements by agreed dates.
• Decide which features go live at opening and which move to post-opening, with manual workarounds for deferred items.
• Oversee testing sign-off, training and operational readiness, working closely with Applications, Software Development and Data teams.
• Manage the product portfolio: Hotel & Reservations, Guest & Resort Services, Marketing Technology & CRM, Data & Customer Insight and Employee systems.
• Maintain a single priorities list with owners, budget sponsors, decisions and target dates, and track risks, dependencies and spend.
• Define and report on delivery metrics and product adoption.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, allocate work by capacity and act as the single point of contact for business leaders.
• Lead vendor selection and commercial negotiations, including licensing costs, and work with Contract Services and Legal on contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field.
• 10+ years in IT product management, including at least 5 years leading product teams.
• Proven track record of launching products in hospitality, gaming, travel or consumer technology; pre-opening experience highly desirable.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during launches and key pre-opening milestones.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel and guest systems such as Oracle OPERA Cloud, booking engines and revenue management, and marketing and CRM platforms such as Braze and Salesforce.
• Agile delivery, system integrations, data platforms and user experience design.
• Strong budget management, including total cost of ownership analysis.
