About the role

The Commodity trading desk at FAB provides hedging and risk management solutions across a broad range of products, including Energy, Carbon, Base and Precious Metals, and Agriculture. This senior role focuses on Base and Precious Metals, driving customer flow, delivering budget targets, and expanding the Metals franchise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and leverage customer flow to meet assigned budget and generate P&L.
• Price, execute and risk‑manage client flow, including Base & Precious Metals derivatives market making.
• Develop warrants business and add new revenue streams.
• Maintain desk risk within limits, monitor global commodity book, and report positions daily.
• Build and sustain relationships with key clients, counterparties, and internal sales teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of commodity trading experience with strong focus on Base and Precious Metals.
• Proven track record in managing commodities risk and implementing trading strategies.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and deliver timely solutions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills across desks and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of commodity markets, trading platforms and systems.
• Analytical background with a keen interest in learning.
