Director of Accounting & Finance

About the role

The Director of Accounting & Finance will lead the delivery of complex accounting projects, manage client relationships and drive business development across the region. This senior position combines technical accounting expertise with strategic oversight of project planning, budgeting and resource allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple day‑to‑day projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.
• Provide technical guidance on IFRS implementation, financial statement conversions and audit remediation.
• Support clients in audit preparation and act as liaison with auditors.
• Lead specialist accounting assignments, including preparation of reports and position papers.
• Oversee project performance, quality control and continuous improvement.
• Develop new service offerings, deliver IFRS training and contribute to market and brand initiatives.
• Supervise, coach and mentor junior staff, conducting performance reviews.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance or consulting.
• Proven track record in leading large‑scale accounting projects and managing client relationships.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
