Director of Brand Growth

About the role

The Head of Brand Growth will own Wego's brand, social, and creator/influencer programmes, driving measurable demand, conversion and repeat bookings. This hands‑on, experimental role works closely with performance marketing to turn brand activities into funnel results.

Key responsibilities

• Define brand positioning, messaging, tone of voice and guidelines across markets, and decide quarterly audience and market focus.
• Lead the social team across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X and YouTube Shorts, creating fast‑paced content and managing community care.
• Run the creator and influencer programme as a growth channel, measuring impact on traffic, installs and bookings.
• Own the brand budget, brief reach and engagement campaigns to the performance media team, and design full‑funnel journeys with performance, organic and CRM.
• Run continuous test‑and‑learn programmes, design market holdout tests and ensure brand metrics are computable.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude, platform connectors, Looker) to automate workflows while maintaining human quality gates.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years in brand, social or growth marketing within consumer tech, travel, e‑commerce or high‑frequency app businesses.
• Proven track record of brand/social work that delivered measurable growth and managed budgets.
• Experience leading small teams and collaborating with performance marketing.
• Deep knowledge of MENA consumer behavior; South‑Asia experience a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on expertise with Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube paid platforms.
• Proficiency in Looker, Tableau or similar BI tools; SQL is a plus.
• Experience using generative AI tools such as Claude for research, production and workflow automation.
