Director of Charity Projects Management

About the role

The Director of Charity Projects Management leads the strategic planning, budgeting and execution of charitable initiatives both within the UAE and internationally. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures that all projects align with departmental policies and the broader mission of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the department’s strategic plan and annual operational plans.
• Oversee preparation, approval and monitoring of the annual budget, ensuring optimal use of financial, human and technical resources.
• Participate in drafting policies, procedures and executive regulations for charitable project management in coordination with relevant authorities.
• Supervise the annual planning, identification and approval of domestic and overseas charitable projects.
• Coordinate with state bodies, foundations, charities and other stakeholders to assess project needs.
• Manage the implementation and follow‑up of relief campaigns and charitable projects, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local and international relief and assistance institutions.

Required profile

• Proven senior management experience in the non‑profit or charitable sector.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial performance monitoring and resource optimization.
• Experience working with government authorities and international partners on charitable initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, coordination and reporting abilities.
