Director of Education for K-12 School Network

About the role

The Director of Education will provide strategic leadership for four ADNOC Schools campuses across Abu Dhabi City and the Western Region. Reporting to senior leadership, the role drives excellence in teaching, curriculum delivery, school improvement and operational performance, with an expected start in August 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Set vision and strategic direction for all campuses to achieve the highest levels of educational performance.
• Oversee curriculum implementation of the US Massachusetts/Common Core program and AP examinations.
• Lead school‑improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with UAE regulatory requirements.
• Manage commercial and education line‑management functions across the network.
• Collaborate with principals, senior leadership teams and external partners to foster innovation and align with ADNOC Schools’ core values.
• Represent the schools to board members, parents, teachers and community stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in K‑12 education, preferably in the UK, USA or comparable international settings.
• Strong interpersonal and cultural awareness, able to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills and a visible ambassadorial presence.
• Strategic thinker with a commitment to the UAE’s broader education vision.
