Director of Finance – Arabic Speaker

About the role

The company is a leading provider of end‑to‑end clean energy solutions focused on natural gas. It seeks a senior finance leader to act as the principal financial advisor to the CEO and executive team, driving strategic financial decisions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and advise the CEO and executive team.
• Develop and manage capital structure, leading debt, equity and project financing negotiations.
• Oversee treasury strategy, liquidity management and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning and performance monitoring via KPIs.
• Ensure financial reporting integrity and compliance with IFRS, UAE corporate tax and VAT.
• Manage enterprise risk, including liquidity, credit, operational and regulatory risks.
• Evaluate new investments, acquisitions and capital projects using financial modelling.
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, regulators and investors.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years progressive finance experience, 7 years in senior leadership.
• Background in energy, natural gas, utilities, infrastructure or related capital‑intensive sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration; MBA or Master’s in Finance preferred.
• Professional certification required (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA or CA).
• Fluency in English mandatory; Arabic fluency required.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and UAE regulatory compliance.
• Expertise in treasury, funding structures and liquidity management.
• Proficiency with ERP financial systems.
• Advanced financial modelling and risk‑adjusted return analysis.
