Director of Finance

About the role

Capital.com is hiring a Director of Finance to own all finance activity across its UAE operations, covering both regulated and non‑regulated entities as the business expands in the Middle East. You will be the senior finance authority for the UAE, acting as the primary counterpart for regulators, auditors, banks and group leadership while leading a local finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Own all financial regulatory reporting for UAE regulated entities, including monthly client‑money reports, cash‑flow forecasts and annual regulator submissions.
• Lead consolidation of the five UAE entities and produce monthly internal management accounts for the group.
• Direct treasury activities, monitor daily cash positions and oversee client‑money reconciliations in line with UAE rules.
• Manage the annual external audit process for all UAE entities and maintain the relationship with auditors.
• Own budgeting, budget‑vs‑actual analysis and coordinate business plans with the Group FP&A team.
• Oversee banking, payments, PSP relationships, payroll, accounting, bookkeeping and tax compliance for both regulated and non‑regulated entities.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, tax authorities, banks and suppliers.
• Lead, develop and manage the finance team, setting objectives, conducting performance reviews and planning succession.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent).
• Senior finance leadership experience in CFD, forex or online trading brokerage with hands‑on consolidation, treasury and regulatory reporting.
• Direct experience with UAE regulatory reporting and client‑money rules (SCA, DFSA/ADGM).
• Proven track record managing external audit relationships and liaising with regulators and banking partners.
• Strong people‑leadership experience, having built and scaled finance teams.
