Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance acts as the strategic financial leader for the property, shaping and executing financial strategies that support the brand’s service objectives and deliver strong returns on investment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual operating budget and business plan aligned with the property’s strategic direction.
• Provide analytical support for budget reviews, cost‑saving initiatives and productivity improvements.
• Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis to monitor sales, expenses and cash flow.
• Oversee internal, external and regulatory audit processes and ensure strong accounting controls.
• Communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations to owners, the GM and executive committee.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting (4‑year) with at least 3 years relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 1 year experience.
• Proven ability to lead finance teams, influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic financial decisions.
