Director of Global Supply Chain Integration - Middle East
Anduril Industries · Abu Dhabi
Job description
About the role
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is looking for an experienced Director of Global Supply Chain Integration in the Middle East. This is a hybrid role between supply chain and growth: it supports supplier relationship building in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and the wider region, and advises growth teams and industry partners on bringing Anduril products into the region. It sits at the intersection of growth, strategic sourcing and supply chain risk management.
Key responsibilities
- Support growth and corporate development teams in building relationships with industry leaders across the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar, and shape pre-contract strategy through scope definition, proposals and term sheets.
- Act as the supply chain voice in go/no-go decisions, bringing market intelligence and risk assessment to leadership.
- Build and optimize regional supply networks: identify and qualify suppliers, lead selection, qualification and onboarding, and manage multi-tier visibility and risks.
- Drive localization initiatives and provide strategic advisory support to regional partners' supply chain teams.
- Navigate host-nation regulations such as UAE strategic goods import/export control law, Tawazun and ICV requirements, Qatar's Tawteen program, Kuwait's offset regime, technology transfer restrictions and U.S. export controls.
- Bridge Anduril's engineering, operations and program teams with manufacturing partners, and work with Product Sourcing Engineers and Global Sourcing Managers.
- Manage supplier performance, escalation protocols, corrective actions and capacity planning.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or a related field.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement focused on contract manufacturing, preferably in defense, aerospace or advanced technology.
- Professional fluency in English; professional working proficiency in Arabic strongly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, and to travel regionally and internationally about 30-40%.
- Ability to work across international timezones with U.S. partners.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience negotiating complex manufacturing agreements with Middle East suppliers and navigating GCC compliance.
- Knowledge of electronics, precision manufacturing, optics, sensors and other defense-relevant commodities.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, including total cost modeling, should-cost analysis and make-vs-buy assessments, and ERP and sourcing tool proficiency.
- Past experience in the UAE Armed Forces or another GCC military, and in building supplier networks in the Middle East.
What we offer
- Highly competitive equity grants as part of the total compensation package.
- A comprehensive benefits package available at little to no cost to employees.
