Director of Guidance & Awareness (UAE Nationals)

About the role

The Director of Guidance and Awareness will lead the department in raising awareness, providing advice and guidance to employers, workers and other stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with UAE labour laws and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor guidance and awareness programmes for employers, workers and domestic labour.
• Coordinate with internal units and external entities to apply best practices and tools for guidance.
• Supervise the creation and dissemination of guidance materials on labour legislation.
• Organise inspection visits to recruitment offices and businesses to promote legislative awareness.
• Develop, implement and evaluate awareness programmes, reporting impact and recommending improvements.
• Manage the department team, enhance skills and report outcomes to senior ministry officials.

Required profile

• University degree in Mass Communication, Media, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in guidance, awareness or development programme management.
• Strong leadership, administrative and coordination abilities.
• Good knowledge of labour market laws and policies.
