Director of Outside Catering Sales

About the role

The Director of Outside Catering Sales leads revenue growth and market expansion for the Outside Catering division of JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, the role creates and executes a strategic sales plan, partners with operational teams, and ensures profitable delivery of catering events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic business plan for Outside Catering.
• Identify new market opportunities and drive proactive sales activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate, government, and event industry clients.
• Lead pricing, negotiations and commercial decisions to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• More than 5 years of Outside Catering Sales, Events Operations or Planning experience.
• Over 5 years of experience managing a sales team.
• Marriott sales experience desirable; fluent Arabic desirable.
