Director of Payments Products

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to define and execute the unified product vision for e& money’s payments portfolio. The role will drive growth through innovative, scalable and compliant financial products while steering international expansion and localization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the end‑to‑end product strategy for consumer and merchant payments, aligning with group priorities and the Fintech Center of Excellence.
• Lead cross‑functional squads (App, CVM, Payments, Embedded Finance) to deliver modular, high‑performing products and fintech‑as‑a‑service APIs, SDKs and embedded capabilities.
• Own the international rollout, adapting product design, pricing and go‑to‑market approaches to meet regulatory and cultural requirements in each market.
• Set and monitor KPIs such as app downloads, active users, transaction volumes, revenue and EBITDA, using user research and analytics to refine product‑market fit.
• Act as product advisor to senior leadership, build strategic partnerships with financial institutions and technology providers, and represent the product organization externally.
• Develop and mentor a multi‑country product team, establishing talent strategies, succession planning and a culture of speed and accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in financial product development or leadership within fintech, banks or technology companies.
• 8‑10 years focused on consumer and business fintech products with a proven record of launching and scaling solutions such as cards, wallets, lending or insurance.
