Director of Product Technology

About the role

Inception42, a G42 company, seeks a Director of Product Technology to lead the evolution and productization of its shared agentic‑AI platform, turning advanced AI capabilities into secure, reliable, and scalable experiences for enterprise and government customers.

Key responsibilities

• Set technical direction and execution roadmap for the agentic‑AI platform, evolving architecture across runtime, orchestration, governance, APIs, identity, multi‑tenancy, security and sovereign deployment.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data & AI and other teams to turn models, agents and prototypes into evaluated, usable, secure and observable platform capabilities.
• Lead enterprise integration strategy and interoperability with strategic technology ecosystems such as Microsoft.
• Establish strong engineering practices for development, release and production, including automated evaluations, observability, rollback and clear operational ownership.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, security and AI economics across enterprise, sovereign, hybrid and customer‑controlled deployments.

Required profile

• Senior product‑engineering leadership experience building complex enterprise platforms, developer products or multi‑tenant SaaS.
• Strong hands‑on technical credibility in architecture, system design, code review and complex production diagnosis.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, identity, security, multi‑tenancy, reliability, observability and production operations.
• Experience shipping AI‑powered products with knowledge of agents, retrieval‑augmented generation, evaluation, grounding, safety, latency and cost.
• Proven ability to guide products from discovery through launch, operation, iteration and scale.
