Director of Retail Property Management

About the role

The Director of Retail Property Management will lead the strategic and operational oversight of a portfolio of retail assets, ensuring high standards of tenant relations, financial performance, and customer experience. Reporting to the Executive Director – Property Management, this role aligns operational excellence with corporate objectives to drive revenue growth and asset value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute tenant engagement and mix optimisation strategies across multiple malls, ensuring compliance with contracts and mall policies.
• Oversee asset P&L, budget performance, and cost‑optimisation initiatives while managing accounts receivable and cash‑flow improvement.
• Lead marketing and promotional activities to increase footfall, coordinate major events, and enhance brand positioning.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and strong relationships with government agencies and legal teams.
• Provide executive‑level reporting on asset performance, financials, and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 12‑14 years of experience in retail real‑estate management, mall operations or retail marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Proven track record in the Middle East retail market and strong knowledge of regional leasing and operational best practices.
