Director of Sales – CIS Region

About the role

The Director of Sales – CIS will be responsible for driving profitable market share, net sales and margin growth across the CIS market for adidas. Reporting to the VP Wholesale EMC, the role oversees Wholesale Key Accounts, Brick‑and‑Mortar and Direct‑to‑Consumer channels while safeguarding the brand image.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the CIS sales strategy aligned with global and market priorities.
• Set clear sales targets, monitor performance, manage risks and capture new business opportunities across all channels.
• Ensure consistent application of adidas commercial standards and best practices.
• Review, challenge and approve Strategic Account Plans, Account Marketing Plans and DPC growth plans.
• Lead negotiations and enforce adidas trade terms.
• Oversee cross‑channel commercial execution, ensuring optimal marketplace planning and consumer‑right distribution.
• Design the organisational framework for the CIS sales team and staff key positions in collaboration with HR.
• Lead, coach and build a high‑performance culture within the team.
• Manage key customer relationships and monitor competitor activities.
• Provide realistic forecasts and KPI reporting for the market.

Required profile

• Senior sales leader with a proven track record in managing Wholesale Key Accounts, B&M and/or DPC businesses in complex multi‑market environments.
• Strong analytical capabilities for strategy development and business performance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, drive results and foster talent development.
