Director - Security and Governance

About the role

Lead security strategy, governance and operations for Inception42, shaping the protection of enterprise platforms, cloud services and AI product environments. You will own risk oversight, control assurance and incident response, translating business priorities into effective security measures.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver security strategy, operating model and roadmap aligned with material risks and business priorities.
• Own the information security governance framework, ensuring alignment with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS and local obligations.
• Direct security risk management, maintain a risk register and drive risk treatment and acceptance.
• Lead security operations including monitoring, detection engineering, SIEM, EDR and incident response.
• Govern vulnerability and exposure management with risk‑based prioritisation and remediation.
• Manage security budgets, vendor performance and tooling value.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an information security function with measurable improvements in security posture.
• Strong governance, risk and compliance expertise, including policy and control frameworks aligned to ISO 27001, NIST CSF or CIS.
• Executive‑level communication skills and ability to translate risk exposure into funded roadmaps.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or recognized cloud/security architecture credentials.
