Director - Solution Engineering

About the role

The Director – Solution Engineering will lead technical enablement and activation of Inception42’s partner ecosystem, ensuring system integrators, resellers and consulting partners can effectively position, architect and deliver the company’s AI portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Solution Engineering, you will shape partner‑led technical strategy and build frameworks that drive high‑quality enterprise engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical activation and onboarding of partners, delivering deep‑dive solution training and certification programs.
• Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, solution templates and technical documentation.
• Provide architectural guidance and support during partner‑led customer pursuits, including workshops, RFx responses and solution sizing.
• Collaborate with product, applied science, engineering and commercial teams to align partner feedback with product roadmap.
• Develop scalable processes for partner technical onboarding, architecture reviews and quality assurance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, pre‑sales engineering or technical consulting, preferably within partner ecosystems.
• Proven track record of supporting enterprise sales engagements through technical design, workshops and RFx responses.
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills across technical and commercial audiences.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of AI/ML architectures and SaaS solutions.
• Experience with cloud‑native technologies and enterprise integration.
• Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Azure (strongly preferred) and Azure AI/ML services.
• Knowledge of OpenAI technologies and Microsoft Azure L300.
