Director – Staff Support and Wellbeing Department

About the role

The Director will lead the Staff Support and Wellbeing Department, overseeing the implementation of departmental activities and contributing to the development of policies and strategies. This senior position reports to the direct supervisor and plays a pivotal role in shaping a supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage organisational units within the department, monitor performance, and prepare reports to avoid duplication of objectives.
• Prepare strategic and operational plans, develop performance indicators, and drive achievement of targets.
• Strengthen external relationships to establish strategic partnerships and motivate internal partners while managing change for efficiency.
• Lead, review, and approve departmental procedures, working methods, performance indicators, and quality measures, proposing improvements as needed.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve administrative processes including planning, budgeting, reporting, and service delivery.
• Develop internal plans that promote team building and continuous learning to ensure high‑quality work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Business Administration, Education/Teaching, or Psychology.
• Doctorate: minimum 4 years of relevant experience; Master’s: minimum 7 years; Bachelor’s: minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
