About the role

Amgen is seeking a District Promotion Manager for its Cardio‑Renal Business Unit in Dubai. The role focuses on driving revenue growth and increasing market share across the assigned district by leading sales activities and delivering customer‑centric strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement sales force and customer engagement strategies.
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve territory goals.
• Collaborate with brand and internal partners to translate corporate strategy into regional plans.
• Analyse sales performance, identify levers for action and monitor competitor activity.
• Develop and supervise territory plans, marketing messages and program implementation.
• Manage approved budgets, ensuring proper allocation of resources and financial control.
• Recruit, onboard and develop sales talent, conducting performance reviews and capability assessments.
• Support key customer visits and lead external partner engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales leadership within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate sales data and market trends.
• Demonstrated capability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Excellent coaching and team‑building skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with brand, marketing and commercial teams.
