Document Control Manager – Rail & Infrastructure

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Document Control Manager to lead the document control function for a major rail and infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for establishing, managing and overseeing the complete project document control system, ensuring all technical documentation is properly controlled throughout its lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a project‑wide document control system in line with contractual requirements.
• Develop procedures, workflows and distribution processes for all project documents.
• Manage technical documents, drawings, reports, specifications, method statements and submissions.
• Ensure accurate registration, classification, coding, tracking and archiving of documents.
• Configure and maintain Aconex/EDMS platforms, including workflows, registers, transmittals and access rights.
• Prepare weekly/monthly document control reports, KPIs and dashboards.
• Lead the document‑control activities for project handover, close‑out and As‑Built documentation.
• Supervise Document Controllers and Assistants, allocate workloads and provide training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Document Control, Information Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of document control experience on large infrastructure, railway or EPC projects.
• Proven experience as a Document Control Manager or Lead on major projects.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and reporting skills.
