Document Controller – Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Document Controller for its major infrastructure project in the Al Dhafra region of Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing the flow of project documentation and supporting the engineering and construction teams to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate document flow between project operations, engineering, construction, and support teams.
• Manage document control processes using an electronic document management system (EDMS) and ensure compliance with project procedures.
• Register, track, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents; maintain databases, logs and transmittals.
• Enter data and generate status reports using Microsoft Office and project‑specific systems.
• Scan, archive and maintain electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval.
• Maintain document distribution schedules to meet project timelines and client requirements.
• Provide general administrative support such as filing, typing and telephone assistance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of document control experience in an engineering, design, consulting or project environment.
• Fluent in Arabic with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ACONEX and/or Procore.
• Proficient with MS Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, databases).
