Document Controller

About the role

Khazna Data Centers is seeking a Document Controller to manage and maintain all project documentation for its data centre projects in Dubai. The role ensures that technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence are accurately reviewed, approved, stored and readily retrievable throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date document control systems, ensuring proper review, approval, distribution, archiving and retrieval of all documents.
• Raise and receive ERP purchase requests, track, transmit and file electronic documents, drawings and correspondence.
• Establish document control goals, specifications and KPIs, and monitor daily activity to implement workflow improvements.
• Coordinate multi‑office information sharing, assign and track document numbers and revisions, and manage project‑specific file transfer sites.
• Collaborate with specialists, vendors and clients to resolve conflicts, minimise risks and ensure deliverables meet quality, time and budget requirements.
• Create and update project deliverable registries, maintain filing systems and computer databases for contracts, finances and hand‑over documents.
• Support operations controls, reporting, estimating, planning and project administration through accurate documentation.
