Domain Consultant - SOC Transformation (Cortex Portfolio)

About the role

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Domain Consultant for SOC Transformation to act as the expert for its Cortex portfolio, a next-generation AI-powered security operations platform. The consultant defines technical solutions that protect a customer's key business imperatives and promotes solutions in Security Intelligence and Automation, XDR, Attack Surface Management, SOAR and Incident Response. Most teams work from the office full time.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your specialization area
• Present to customers at all levels, from practitioners to senior leadership, as the main technical point of contact for Cortex
• Assist in responding to RFIs and RFPs, and lead and support customer demonstrations
• Scope and lead Proof of Value projects for prospective customers and partners to drive technical wins
• Discuss product alignment with customer requirements, highlight differentiation and architect solutions that strengthen and simplify the security posture
• Document high-level designs and key use cases, and help customers extend their services around Cortex solutions
• Discuss industry trends and competitive offers, and position Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services appropriately
• Pass customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor intelligence and R&D

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering within SIEM, SOAR, SOC and/or XDR/EDR environments
• Solid understanding of Security Operations Center processes
• Experience working with customers, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
• Proficiency in English and Arabic

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions
• Advanced knowledge of endpoint security XDR/EDR solutions
• Scripting experience is a plus (Python preferred)
• Understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps is preferred
