Doorman – Luxury Hotel Guest Arrival Specialist

About the role

The Doorman is the first point of contact for guests arriving and departing at The Ritz‑Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal. You will create memorable first and last impressions by delivering courteous, efficient, and personalized service throughout the guest journey.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly at the entrance, assist with luggage, and escort them to the lobby.
• Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.
• Coordinate with bell staff, concierge, and security to ensure smooth arrivals and departures.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and special arrangements promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized entry area and ensure safety standards are met.
• Complete daily reports, log guest interactions, and follow operational procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 50 lb unassisted and up to 75 lb with assistance.
• Commitment to safety, confidentiality, and company policies.

Required skills

• Physical stamina for extended periods of standing and moving.
