About the role

Aldar Education is recruiting a dynamic Drama and English Teacher for Al Rayana Charter School, an American‑curriculum primary school in Abu Dhabi, starting August 2026. The role involves inspiring young learners, delivering engaging lessons and contributing to the school’s vision of a sustainable, innovative learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver drama and English lessons that cater to the full ability range.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to design curriculum‑aligned, creative learning experiences.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment, manage behaviour and use the school’s policies.
• Assess student progress, record data using Target Tracker and provide feedback to parents.
• Liaise with support staff, therapists and educational psychologists as needed.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and school community activities.

Required profile

• Passion for drama and English education at the primary level.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to the school’s core values, regional cultural appreciation and collaborative ethos.
• Reflective practitioner who uses assessment data to inform planning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Target Tracker assessment system.
