Dynamics ERP Techno-Functional Consultant

About the role

An experienced Dynamics ERP Techno-Functional Consultant is sought in Dubai on a yearly renewable contract. The role manages, develops and optimizes Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and Power Automate, combining technical development, ERP operations, solution architecture, vendor governance and AI-driven transformation to improve efficiency in Finance, Procurement and Human Capital.

Key responsibilities

• Own ERP operations, production support, incident management and service continuity across D365 F&O and Power Automate.
• Develop and maintain ERP customizations, plugins, modules, integrations and .NET applications.
• Govern Level 2 support teams and vendors, manage escalations and drive root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Assess business requirements, review technical designs and oversee enhancements, integrations and solution delivery.
• Maintain a scalable, secure, cost-effective ERP architecture in line with organizational policies and audit requirements.
• Monitor platform performance, storage, resource utilization and operational KPIs.
• Identify and implement AI-driven automation, AI Agents and Copilot Studio solutions; MCP integration experience is an advantage.
• Define sourcing strategies across in-house teams, outsourcing and staff augmentation, assessing vendor capabilities and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks and ITSM processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 8 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and Power Automate, including development, customizations, plugins and modules.
• 5 years of hands-on .NET application development experience.
• Proven experience in enterprise application operations, service management and vendor governance.
• Experience using AI technologies to automate repetitive tasks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management and prioritization skills.

Required skills

• Incident, problem and change management, solution design and business process optimization.
• Familiarity with ManageEngine, Jira or Microsoft Planner.
• Preferred: AI Agent and Copilot Studio implementation, D365 F&O MCP and AI Agent integrations, and knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001 or NIST.
• Preferred: Master's degree and proficiency in Arabic (not mandatory).
