E-Commerce Commercial & Operations Manager

About the role

The E-Commerce Commercial & Operations Manager leads the company's online sales strategy, operations and growth across Shopify stores in the UAE and international markets. The role oversees website performance, supplier relationships, digital sales, inventory planning and customer experience to drive revenue and business expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute e-commerce growth strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Oversee Shopify store operations, including product management, pricing, inventory and merchandising.
• Manage relationships with China-based suppliers and manufacturers for sourcing, production and replenishment.
• Monitor sales performance, customer behaviour and website analytics to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead new product launches and optimise product pages, SEO and conversion rates.
• Collaborate with marketing, logistics and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare performance reports, forecasts and strategic recommendations for management.
• Lead and mentor the e-commerce team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce or a related field.
• At least 7 years of e-commerce experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Native or near-native English proficiency.
• Experience in China sourcing and working with overseas suppliers, preferably in China.
• Strong experience managing Shopify stores and online sales growth.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of e-commerce operations, inventory management, SEO and digital marketing.
• Proficiency in analytics, reporting and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.
