About the role

GEMS International School, Dubai Hills is seeking experienced Early Years Teachers to join its vibrant IB World School community starting August 2026. You will inspire young learners through inquiry‑based, technology‑enhanced lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry‑based lessons for early years students.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles, including EAL, gifted, and additional‑support learners.
• Differentiate instruction and integrate innovative technology to enhance engagement.
• Assess, record, and communicate student progress using data‑driven approaches.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design IB‑aligned curriculum, resources, and assessments.
• Participate in co‑curricular activities, school events, and community initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with parents and the wider school community.
• Engage in continuous professional development and reflect on practice.

Required profile

• A certified teaching qualification at degree level (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE) in Primary education.
• Minimum three years of solid Primary teaching experience, preferably within an IB curriculum.
• Experience with the PYP is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a grade level or team.
• Passion for innovative, inquiry‑based teaching and a commitment to the GEMS values and IB Learner Profile.
