About the role

GEMS Wellington, Dubai Hills is seeking an enthusiastic Economics Teacher to join its high‑performing faculty from January 2027. The school follows the British National Curriculum and aims to deliver evidence‑informed, limitless learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Economics lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Contribute to the school’s cognitive‑science driven pedagogy and collaborative professional learning programmes.
• Maintain high standards of student achievement and support GCSE/A‑Level outcomes.
• Participate in school inspections, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified with a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Economics or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching the British curriculum.
• Proven record of outstanding classroom practice and student results.
• Ability to work within a high‑performing, inclusive teaching team.

Required skills

• Deep subject knowledge of Economics.
• Experience with British curriculum teaching methods.
