EHS Professional - Oil & Gas

About the role

Siemens Energy is looking for an experienced, safety-focused EHS professional with more than 10 years of hands-on experience supporting Oil & Gas and industrial projects in the Middle East. The role covers site operations, compliance, incident investigation and reporting of EHS performance to management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with EHS requirements
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks and daily safety briefings
• Prepare risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses
• Support permit-to-work administration and monitoring, and implement lockout/tagout during outages
• Report and investigate incidents and near misses
• Maintain EHS documentation, registers and records, and prepare reports, statistics and KPI updates
• Coordinate PPE, safety supplies and emergency equipment inspections
• Carry out internal audits and site inspections
• Support EHS awareness, training and lessons learned, manage chemical safety and emergency preparedness

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, environmental, petroleum or a related engineering discipline, or a recognized three-year diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
• NEBOSH International General Certificate Level 3 or equivalent, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001; Internal Auditor certification preferred; Certified Safety Professional preferred
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco and ADNOC safety requirements, and of OSHA requirements
• 8-15 years of EHS experience in Oil & Gas, power generation or rotating equipment, including at least five years developing EHS processes and five years of site-based outage and maintenance support
• Experience in power plants or Oil & Gas and with multicultural teams

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Loop, Planner, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to use AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and reporting
• Strong communication, reporting and collaborative skills, adaptable to site and office environments
