E&I Foreman

About the role

The E&I Foreman reports to the General Foreman (E&I) and leads a construction crew responsible for installing electrical, instrumentation and telecom equipment on oil and gas projects. The role involves planning short‑term priorities, allocating workforce, tools and equipment, and ensuring progress aligns with project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Directly control up to 40 productive personnel and up to 4 supervisory staff such as Chargehands and Senior Technicians.
• Supervise and monitor productivity and efficiency of assigned construction crews.
• Coordinate with the E&I General Foreman to secure installation procedures, approved drawings, materials and equipment.
• Report weekly physical progress measurements to the E&I General Foreman.
• Liaise with other departments, sections and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of E&I works.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation or E&C from an accredited university (full‑time).
• Minimum 8 years of experience installing electrical, instrumentation and telecom equipment in the oil & gas industry.
• Experience in construction operations management within oil and gas or offshore environments.
