Electrical Engineer I – SIL Systems

About the role

We are looking for an Engineer I – SIL to join AL TAIF Technical Services LLC, supporting the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for land platforms and ground support equipment used by the UAE Armed Forces.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to capture project requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Develop design concepts, prototypes, and detailed electrical, hardware, and software designs.
• Perform trade studies, risk assessments, and create Bill of Materials and instruction manuals.
• Prepare drawings, schedules, and progress metrics while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Support testing of designs against established test plans and assist senior engineers in technical reviews.
• Manage project man‑hours, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 1‑3 years of experience in detailed design of electrical systems, hardware and software.
• Experience with multi‑disciplinary automotive or military vehicle projects is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment and follow ISO quality, health‑safety and environmental directives.
