Electrical Engineer

About the role

AESG is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of building services projects across the Middle East. The role involves electrical design, calculations and coordination, working under the guidance of senior engineers to produce compliant and efficient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical engineering designs, calculations, and drawings for assigned projects.
• Develop and coordinate electrical models using AutoCAD, Revit MEP and calculation software.
• Review outputs from junior engineers and modelers, ensuring QA/QC standards.
• Collaborate with internal disciplines, clients, consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Report daily progress to the project supervisor and manage deliverables with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4‑5 years of experience in electrical design for building services.
• Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to supervise junior engineers and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP.
• Experience with electrical calculation software.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, CIBSE and NFPA standards.
• Knowledge of local UAE electrical building codes.
