Electrical Engineer

About the role

Responsible for site supervision and execution of electrical systems in transportation projects, ensuring compliance with design, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electrical cable diversion, rerouting, and relocation works, including street lighting and under‑bridge lighting installations.
• Review method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, single‑line diagrams (SLDs) and load schedules.
• Coordinate new electrical assets, feeder pillars and service terminations according to TAQA standards.
• Manage temporary and permanent power supply for road and infrastructure utilities.
• Oversee substation relocation, shutdown coordination and obtain authority approvals.
• Monitor testing, commissioning, quality and HSE compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, utilities, roads or transportation projects.
• Strong experience with LV/MV/HV networks, substations, street lighting and utility diversions.
• Proven ability to coordinate with utility authorities and contractors.
