Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will work on‑site in Dubai, ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical systems across Astra Polymers' manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting continuous production and equipment upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and production lines.
• Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and update maintenance records.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and cross‑functional teams to resolve breakdowns quickly.
• Support equipment upgrades and contribute to improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in plastics, polymer, or petrochemical sectors.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
