Electrical Technician I

About the role

The Electrical Technician I will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and control systems within a food manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure high‑quality electrical operations, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve all electrical and control breakdowns in the assigned area.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance following the Kanban system.
• Maintain equipment in basic condition and ensure compliance with HSE, HACCP, GMP, 5S, and food‑defense standards.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team on continuous‑improvement projects and asset‑management activities.
• Document anomalies, complete M1‑M3 notifications, and confirm work orders in the maintenance system.
• Support sustainability initiatives in line with the company’s ESG commitments.

Required profile

• Experience in electrical maintenance within the Food/FMCG industry.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations applicable in the country of operation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and pneumatic/hydraulic schematics.
• Basic understanding of food technology and food‑safety requirements.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.

Required skills

• Electrical controls, power circuits, and automation circuits.
• Troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Use of analytical tools such as RCA, PDCA, and 5S.
• Asset‑management practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
