Electrical Technician I – Maintenance & Controls

About the role

Join one of the world’s largest food companies and help keep production lines running smoothly. As an Electrical Technician I at MBRF you will be responsible for maintaining electrical and control systems, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all electrical and control breakdowns within the assigned area.
• Perform corrective, preventive, and scheduled maintenance following the Kanban system.
• Maintain equipment in basic condition and ensure compliance with HSE, HACCP, GMP, and Food Defense requirements.
• Coordinate continuous‑improvement activities with the maintenance team.
• Reduce mean time to repair (MTTR) by effective line presence and timely reporting of anomalies.

Required profile

• Knowledge of electrical controls, power circuits and automation circuits.
• Experience in electrical maintenance of equipment in the food/FMCG industry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Familiarity with applicable electrical codes, standards and regulations.
• Basic understanding of food technology, food safety and asset management.
